Biography
Dr. Ali Karami is Professor of Medical Biotechnology, Genetic Engineering and Molecular Biology at Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences Tehran, Iran. He earned PhD from Copenhagen University, Denmark. Ali Karami is Molecular biologist, Medical Biotechnologist and expert in Genetic Engineering working on Molecular detection of infectious diseases, cloning, expression and purification and characterization of recombinant proteins for medical applications. Dr. Ali Karami Served as a member of National Biosafety Committee, Biotechnology Society and Genetic Society. He has Published more than 100 papers and several books and reviews in local journals on the issue of Biotechnology, Biosafety, Biosecurity, Recombinant Vaccines and Genetic Engineering.
